Model Shoot Workshop

Cost: $75 per person. 12 Participants MAX (8 participants MIN)

Details

  • There will be two models with two looks each. There will be a 30-minute break for outfit changes and lunch (bring your own).
  • No experience is necessary, this is a learning experience.
  • Backdrops and lighting will be supplied by the workshop.
  • Flash triggers will be used that are compatible with most major camera manufacturers (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic, Fuji, and Olympus). A Hot Shoe attachment on your camera is required (PC Sync connection may suffice).
  • There will be two opportunities to test your camera with the triggers at the first two in-person meetings, 6 pm at the September 25th opening meeting and the October 9th Print Competition.
  • This workshop is open to photographers of all levels though attendees will need to know how to navigate their camera settings and menus. We will be working in manual mode and the ability to set ISO, exposure, and aperture will be necessary. Adjustment of white balance and the capability of shooting in RAW is recommended, though not a necessity.
  • Participants will be required to sign a model release and provide one (1) or two (2) quality digital images for each model (without logos, watermarks, or signatures) within thirty (30) days. Suggestion is one for each model’s look.
  • Must be a current member of the Schenectady Photographic Society.
