Happy Labor Day, Lightroom Lovers!

Comrades, today is Labor Day in the United States, and our offices are closed, so we’re taking today off here at the blog as well so we may partake in the American rituals of this important national holiday.

Tomorrow, I’d like to invite you to visit my other blog (scottkelby.com) where Dave Williams, who is British and therefore immune to US holidays, writes a travel photography tips column (he is traveling the US West right now — make sure you’re following “@capturewithdave” on Instagram). You know what else happens tomorrow? I’ll be celebrating being married 30 years to the girl of my dreams. Sounds like just a perfect day! ?

By the way: I looked up Labor Day in WikiFakeia, and here are a few interesting tidbits about this American Holiday:

Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer, and the beginning of NFL and College football seasons (#rolltide). The holiday is often regarded as a national day of uncontrolled burger consumption, and may included a side of Tater Tots, considered by many as the perfect food.

Well, there you have it. If it’s on WikiFakeia you know it has to be true. Hope you have a great Labor Day today (and if you don’t celebrate Labor Day in your country, you can still have a burger and some tater tots).

-Scott

P.S. We’ve already approved nearly 800 Photo Walks™ in cities all over the world as part of my 12th annual Worldwide Photo Walk. If you’re relaxing this Labor Day, why not click this link; type in the name of your city, and see if there’s a walk near you that you can join on Saturday, Oct. 5th (it’s free, it’s fun. Did I mention it’s free?)
