A Photoshop Trick for Lightroom Users: Extending The Background

As much as Lightroom does (and it’s a bunch), there are still some things you need to jump over to Photoshop for, and this is one of them. It’s an old school Photoshop trick that allows you to extend the background of your image without a bunch of cloning. In this case, it enabled me to use a wide image of the Blue Angels on the cover of the latest issue of Lightroom Magazine. You’ll be amazed at how easy and quick this is to do using this old school trick. Check it out:

Hoping you found that helpful (ain’t no school, like the old school!). ?

P.S. I’m off to San Francisco next week for my “Ultimate Photography Crash Course” full-day seminar out there. I hope you can join me — you’ll super dig it. Tickets and info here.
